What a crazy world we live in. Girls think they are men, of course, who can blame them because men think they are women, and neither side knows which restroom to use.
Whats to blame?
Is it the feminism of men by the generation of women who have decided we must show a softer side?
Is it the lack of manly men who lead our women and protect their safety as well as their heart, sanity, and body?
I think the problem actually began before this became such a slap in our faces daily.
When we became subject to "experts" who told us our children no longer needed discipline which included consequences for their actions, and that their feelings and "everyone gets a trophy" was more important than winning and losing, we began to kill capitalism. Losing is what makes us determined to succeed. NEVER discount losing.
Next, we took God out of our daily lives. Is there any older story of actions leading to consequences than the Holy Bible? We took consequences out, and if there are no consequences, what reason is there for living within the rules of society?
NONE.
As I sit writing this, I am in a busy airport. There is no better place to see the lows our society has found. People just don't care anymore, and that might be a handy trait to reclaim should the communists or the terrorists ever decide to invade. That would be a time where a little pride in self/pride in country would come in handy.
For those of us who the dregs and misfits of our society haven't numbed down, who are attempting to make a better life for their family and prepare their children for a world that can offer as much opportunity as cruelty, who take pride in their roles in their family and are proud of their lives and their country, I salute you.
Not all of us choose to give up.
I am always thrilled to meet mannerly and driven young people. They are so refreshing in today's society. If you are raising them, thank you!
Lastly, today's lesson here in the airport-
If you have gray hair, it is no longer cool to not know the bill of your ballcap goes in the front.
